Think City were sniffing around last season but we slapped a big contract on him so the sniffing has stopped.

Looks like he's a bit confused with new gaffer and tactics, also no competition and no new contract to play for so he's probably playing a little too clutch atm. You really notice his performances when Richy isn't playing ahead of him. He works so hard to cover going back and he also creates space on the overlap going forward.

Good players always improve those around them.

He seems to be playing well to me, did well with Gordon last match although doesnt look as good with Gray ahead of him compared to Richarlison.

In fairness he will be used to Gordon and Richarlison and probably needs more time to develop a partnership with Gray.

Having said all that, I think Richarlison will be central and Gray ahead of Digne.

We could probably recall Nkounkou, which makes it all the more weird that he's not back here already.

I believe the rules now mean that we can only recall loan players in the next transfer window.

Also if a fee was paid for the year they cant be recalled.

Digne does seem to lack a Brain at times. He should have brought cash down at villa, as soon as he went past him. Take the booking, he Just let’s him stroll into the box

Gives so many fouls away, never looks confident defending 1v1 with his now trademark furrowed brow with gesticulating arm raised when he gives the free kick away.

His use of the ball has been so poor too; regularly shanks the ball out when playing down the line for someone left-footed.

His strengths are his deliveries of course, but we’re not seeing it enough.
