Contrast that with the Judas we're punting: he wont accept a bollocking and wont play and demands a transfer.

Yeah I have no issue with discipline. I have no issue with selling digne as he’s a sellable asset. I have an issue with cutting your nose off to spite your face and pinning all the blame on the player when the manager has handled it very poorly

Compare this to how Pep handled the Bernardo Silva situation

Bernardo said, publicly, he wanted to leave City. He told Pep, too.

He’s been incredible this season. He still wants to leave, by all accounts, but he’s been absolutely incredible. That’s good management and good commitment from the player. Maybe it is easier when you play for a brilliant manager and at a good club, mind

Compare it to when PSG came in for Gueye too.

But he clearly has, 3 players there all with more goals and assists for a start, and Lucas has made as many mistakes as Keane at the back, however those three are still playing the best they can for the shirt, for the club, manager and fans, Lucas isnt even trying.

Yep, Gueye said he wanted to go though at that stage we did at least have a dof who seemed, at that stage, capable of doing his job

Think Brands was a big factor in Digne’s last deal. I don’t doubt that digne wants to leave, I just don’t think that makes him persona non- grata. He has no history of falling out with managers, yet Benitez falls out with somebody everywhere he goes

Digne should be getting Roscoe Barkley levels of abuse, not appluaded when he is warming up.

He’s a left-back????? And you’ve put him against a striker and a midfielder?

Also, digne has as many goals this season as Iwobi and Keane (1) and more than Gomes (0).

He’s still created more chances than any of them (won’t hold that against Keane), and over the past year alone (when he’s supposedly been rubbish) he has as many assists as Gomes and Iwobi

But since when are left-backs judged on goals???
