Bit of a shithouse statement from the club regarding his departure. Whatever you thought of him and whatever went on behind the scenes, you'd expect a professional organisation to at least be magnanimous and wish him luck. Even a club like Chelsea can't justify paying £45mill for Chillwell, then pay £25million for another LB after also paying £20mill for Emerson. Would be £90mill on 3 left backs.

2: You stated I had not seen the players before-- Mykolenko literally played the other day.

...To strangers on the internet always seems a bit daft. Most people making those statements have no self awareness precisely due to that.

Can you tell me how many full backs have ever been bought for more than £30m then? I doubt it’s more than a dozen so a £30m+ full back surely by definition should be one of the very best in the world? If not why not?
