Transfer Rumour Luis Diaz

We probably need to throw 40 million euros at Porto to get this done. From Romano and Joyce's tweets, it seems the player wants it which is always a good sign.

Totally depends on Moise Kean, Rodriguez and one of Delph or Davies leaving to get the FFP wiggle room that allows this over the line.
I doubt we will go to that figure. But even at 35mil, it’s only 7mil a year over 5yrs add in maybe 4mil in wages. Surely we can find 11mil.

I very much doubt it’s dependant on that
Richarlison will be going nowhere in the next 2 days. We’ve obviously been taking to Porto, Diaz and his people for a while. As soon as it’s not done 5 minutes after we’re linked, our fans go into meltdown.

Apparently they need money and I read Porto only owe 80% of him, so I suppose it Makes the deal even more complicated
We don’t have money unless we sell someone, so the talks must be a ‘just in case’ scenario.

If Richarlison stays, we won’t sign him. We won’t have the money. If he goes, Diaz is the replacement. I read somewhere they are looking for £60m. Porto don’t sell cheap.

Think will depend on the structure of the Kean deal.

If we get a £5-7 mil loan fee + wages off the books we could maybe push with a higher offer.

If not it'll be someone like Dan James on loan sadly.

That carthorse James not leaving has scuppered us really - hopefully someone offers a few quid to take him off our hands.

Can't see it happening this late in the window

PSG fart arsing with Kean scuppered us, not James

More bad news by the looks of it. Strongly suspect this is the classic Everton phantom bid territory so we don't lose our minds at a deadline day loan for Dan James and frantic bid for Lingard.

Doesn't look like they ever really had any planning in place and, if not a phantom bid, the club are just chancing their arm at the end of the window.View attachment 137268View attachment 137269
That is nothing whatsoever that anyone who has a modicum of football knowledge doesnt already know.

That Pipe fella chats crap.

No because they are damn near up the creek and need money.

PSG don't want Kean and never have, he was there last season as injury cover, they don't need him this season.
well, that was the narrative pushed by people - we need to sell Kean to get funds - that hasnt happened. Although you are right that they didnt want him.

I dont think James was ever considered seriously as an 'out' - its only emerged since the Kean debacle.

Oh we need to sell Kean no doubt but I think James was always gone once Carlo left. I get that there is clearly an issue with him and Benitez but the majority of managers are not going to indulge him the way that Carlo clearly did, also I think people forget the role of Mendes in this. It was'nt long after Carlo left that stories surfaced of Mendes offering James to Milan, it's just another way for him to make money.
