Lukaku to Spurs

Aye, it was more of a jibe at his agent who seems intent on whoring Lukaku around in order to get the best deal for him(self).

same agent as Mirrales though mate, who chose us over Arsenal - probably a lower wage in exchange for higher role int he team, same thing may happen again - as don't think as far as agents go this guys got a bad rep for pushing his clients towards the money over their career

If we don't get Champions League I really don't think there is a chance he will stay. Think Chelsea will sell rather than send him out on loan again. If he has a good World Cup plenty of Champions League teams will be in for him.

Hopefully I'm wrong though and we have the cash and he wants to stay here.

If he's willing to stay, we'll sign him.

Mourinho doesn't rate him an will look for a 'superstar' marquee striker in the summer.

He has resale value so it ticks that Kenwright box.

We have money to spend and have to sign a striker or two anyway.

This is big and Lukaku's agent will know it.
This will be a big money signing, but his next one will be even more so.
He'll be worth an absolute fortune at 24/25, and Kenwright and Martinez will be aware of this.
Could happen-- but not if we don't beat Arsenal.
Hatrick please Romelu, if you want to stay in Royal Blue you better start smashing the goals in.

Good knowledge, I was just going on the fact that all agents are tw@s.

they all have a degree of twatishness about them definitely, just think some do take a longer view of their client rather than go instantly for the big pay off though, strangely a move to say a massive team for Lukaku may mean he's their the rest of his career, a swap to us probably has a further move to a massive team in 4-5 years time, 2 paydays that way, so actually smart thinking in some ways

Don't underestimate the Martinez factor in all this. He WILL be a global managerial resource at the HIGHEST level. Players will want to be with him...and that means, for the present, with Everton

Yeah that's my thinking, the more you move the more money you make.

Think him and Martinez are a match made in heaven for each other tbh, both very very driven and determined to push themselves as much as is possible
And both are football nerds, able to spout details of past games like who played where and who scored. Think it will make communication between them pretty easy and relaxed.

Get the impression Mourinho talks at rather than with his players.

This.

Mourinho is an arrogant fecker and will no doubt let Lukaku go if the rumours are true that Rom has stood up to him a little bit.

Mourinho wants to be the main man at Chelski.

Aye a bit similar to the way Ferguson was supposed to be like actually, strange thing is if you could say the type of personality and drive that Mourinho would want in any player then Lukaku has it, just at his age he's too young for Mourinho to trust in that lone striker role, then again if your able to splash 50m on a striker I guess you can be very selective on what you want

From the article today about Baines (not a massive footy fan apparently) getting dragged the Utd game it seems like he is well more hands on in getting players to study matches and other players more, will work out beneficial for a lot of them that mentality will, especially the young lads
