His wages are around £2m a year, Chelsea bloke i know is sceptical that we've actually paid any loan fee, but we're surprised we haven't :lol:

I would have thought perhaps a £1-2m fee and his wages, so between £3m-4m for the season long loan
 
So is that bullshine the talk about a second year loan? I am really excited about this signing, he is a big game player too

My faviourite quote from that article is when he says:

“We must face challenges and mine will be at Everton. “

He touted as one of the best young players in all of Europe, you see so many other young potential future stars just expect it to happen for them but Romelu seems a really determined player, even though it's only a loan I still think he will give the club everything he's every week.

Think your post about helping him develop and him being your future starter is spot on, whilst we'd all love to have him permanent, i honestly think the realistic goal is for us to get a 15-20 goal forward who has a monster season and fires us into europe (ecl is the dream and we've only lacked depth and a genuine slotter in the past few seasons from getting it tbh) If it all goes well he develops and comes back to you the finished article i have no doubt with mourinho's mentality that we then move up the pecking order when it comes to loaning off you lot, sad fact is for the next few years top quality loans are likely to be a part of our transfer policy (not a bad thing if we reap the benefits as well as the parent club)

Anyways hope we tonk you next weekend, but good luck for the season AFTER that game, really hope you stop Moyes winning feck all this year ;)

If ronerto could win a pot with that wigan squad, we have to be in with a bigger shout with this squad with him in charge. I'm actually excited about a season for the first time in beards
