Valid points, though it was only 2 seasons ago a CL dropout didn't win it with Atletico Madrid.
I'd rather be in Europe than not to be honest, we are able to attract better players (even if it is only a second rate competition) and it helps our pedigree around Europe. Also if Newcastle got to the Quarter Finals last year then I'm sure we'd have a shot at winning it.
