any chance one of the poetry lids on here (BlueLlama and Moomin, I'm looking at you guys) of making up a song for him ?

Scores 5 against sh*te at Anfield.

Then fights the entire Kop. Does it with one hand behind his back.

Lukaku wins.

All via KO.

Lukaku.

We've all seen his goals last season, but here's a video of his pre-season form for Chelsea.

I honestly think we'll have a chance to sign him, there are just to many obstacles in Chelsea for him Mourinho being the primary. He doesn't have a good record developing young players, he mainly sign them when they are already world class or close to, Rooney was also Mourinho's main target and I'm sure they where in for Cavani and Benteke. So that couple with the fact that Mourinho always plays with a small group of players means he's more likely to go and buy another top striker than wait for Lukaku to develop. Lukake could very well be available next summer IMO.

Got to say prior to seeing those videos I thought he was slightly overrated based on the one or two times I'd seen him play 90 minutes, but it looks like we've snagged one of the best young strikers in the World. He is Ferguson-esque in the air.

The way he absolutely leathers the ball into the net, either by foot or head, the Gwladys Street are going to f*cking love him.

They don't want the ball tapped in, they want the net and the very being of the opposition keeper assaulted.

Lukaku supports Chelsea. He said when he joined he had dreamed of playing them since he was 10 and supported them from that age. I doubt very much he'll want to leave Chelsea permanently unless he's absolutely not wanted there. Spurs would also blow us out of the water next summer if Chelsea do decide to sell. Villas-Boas signed him originally.

"I dreamed to play here since I was 10 years old. It was just what I was searching for," he said.

"I used to watch Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink scoring goals and remember one against Manchester United, the volley at Old Trafford, and I decided I wanted to support this team"

Ideal situation is he impresses a little, not a lot, scoring maybe 10 goals or so only, Kone plays magnificently and sometimes keeps him out of the team, and Chelsea decide to sell next summer for £16m or so, making a tiny loss on a player they didn't use or want to use. Then he joins us, shows he is a world-beater, fires us into the top 3, and if we do sell him it's for a £75m fee.

I do hope Lukaku does well for us but I cant help thinking that he was far from recognised prior to going on loan to WBA last year, and that he has never scored for Chelski. Hardly the credentials of a proven or finished article.

Lets hope my fears are unfounded.

He was universally regarded as one of the best young players in Europe before Chelsea bought him, and he's 20 so he obviously isn't a finished article.
