I can not see Cheski selling him to us in case we move on as a main competitor to them TBH!

We have had him this year and wasnt one of there main competitors? chelsea are gonna spend big in the summer so we wont get near them. I can see us signing him tbh

£20m due to his potential. Still a lot to change in his game. His stamina is still an issue. His work rate and attitude sometimes is an issue. His self belief needs to change, he thinks he's one of the worlds best and when he reaches 25 will realise how wrong he was.

not much point discussing this now, bobby has said he wont bid until after the WC and his stock could soar if he has a good tournament.

He's worth every penny of anything up to £25m. However, we simply CAN'T spunk the entire transfer budget on one player - it's far too much of a risk for starters and we need several players, not just one. I just don't see us spending £25m this summer - I think we're gonna see some more loans.

The ideal scenario would be another year's loan for a fee of a couple million, with an option to buy for £15m-ish. Get the squad strengthened in other areas, perform well in Europe, maybe sneak the FA Cup, maybe sneak fourth place. THEN we exercise the option.

Whilst he can definitely improve, 31 goals in 65 prem games is actually astounding, considering the teams he's scored them for are WBA and us. There isn't another 20 year old in the prem who can match those figures, is there?

The stamina and workrate issues might be attributable to the fact that for most of this season he was the only fit striker at the club. And he actually comes across as relatively humble, for a footballer. I think the only thing he's going to realise at 25 is that he IS the world's best, or close enough, and he may realise that at about 23.

In a nutshell all he is right now is potential
thf, I think his goal return in 2 PL seasons suggests that he is more than just potential. I have concerns about aspects of his game (ball control) but in the monopoly money of today's football world, you would say his minimum price tag would be 18mio.
