i mean going from teams paying £100m with us paying £0 to them paying £130m with us paying £30m is much more beneficial to us.

yeah, i'd be fine with it being £50m ish, if we do get him, i'm expecting 3 years max, we can't totally transform into one of the world's best in that time.

I agree, I'm surprised the Mods haven't locked that other thread seems as he's no longer an Everton player and is now a transfer rumour. There was another Lukaku thread made yesterday that seems to have also survived the Mods.

But why? We'd be silly to put a buyback clause in his contract. It's essentially saying to Chelsea "We'll make him better, then you can have him back".

We ideally wouldn't want one there of course, but it just might have to be one of the compromises we have to make if we want him

Liverpool only had a chance due to how poor United/City/Chelsea were and the fact that they had all started the season with a new manager, whereas they already had a settled squad. Those 3 will get their act together next season and Arsenal will predictably finish 4th, all of which means a finish outside the top 4 for Liverpool despite all the money they've spent

I know,meant only 2 threads is nothing,compared to say x amount [say 4 or 5 etc] threads we could have on say transfers etc lol easier if all in one instead of so many different threads on the same subject-which is hard to sort
