Total waste of money is Kone and clearly if we signed lambert it would have been more money down the drain.

no doubt, but they have a better strikeforce than chelsea. they'd be rotating a lot with that kind of strikerforce, he has more chance at chelsea being first backup to costa with only torres for competition.

So, the only thing we know from SSN is that he's going to start training again this pre season with Chelsea, which would mean another week or two wait. Not worth it in my eyes, he knows our offer, and yet he's contemplating going back to Chelsea to sit on their bench. Won't be starting ahead of Costa, perhaps not even Torres. If I were Bobby I'd get another striker deal almost sorted, powerplay Rom. If we've got Bony waiting to sign on the dotted line he'd soon stop dragging his heels.

I think of we had the amount of cash that Liverpool like to spens every year than Lambert isnt the worst signing. Thpugh theyd be better goong after like for like and a top defender with that cash. But I digress.

As a club we simply cant afford to spend that sort of cash. I think the best example (which favpurs your point of view) would be distin. However even then he had spent years in the league already whilst kone only one season.

He isn't as good as our fans make out. Evertonians are only happy and rate him very highly because we haven't had a striker with lots of potential since Rooney. I only want him because we would probably get a profit if he reaches his hype

He gets goals though and there aren't that many quality alternatives who can play up top on their own or out wide in a front three. He's got a lot going for him. Versatile, strength, pace, finishing.
