Lukaku

Just been taking a look on a Chelsea forum 'The Shed End', or something.

They're as in the dark as we are. They agree that them going into the season with just Costa and Torres is bad, but they far from agree on if they like Lukaku or not, and don't seem to like that he's a mouthy son of a swear word too.

So overall, it was a bit of a waste of time.

Breaking news: Romelu Lukaku is not contracted to Everton.

Get a frigging grip, he's a twenty-year-old millionaire. If he wanted to force a move, we'd know it by now.

forum.talkchelsea.net is a much better Chelsea forum.

Chelsea also have an option of paying part of his wage for the remainder of his two year contract to force a move to Atletico. I'm sure Martinez has contingency plans if Lukaku is unattainable. You guys should be looking at Bony instead.

There's a way to go in this Lukaku one yet. Even as a massive advocate of Bony, I have heard Swansea are holding out for 25m. And I wouldn't blame our board for baulking at that.

Not read all of this thread, have we actually gone for him, or are people assuming we have based on internet rumours?

It may take time some reports, and many differ is that he will join Chelsea in the 2nd week of their pre season tour and the chosen one will review him as if he wants to sell him or not!

They did, but that doesn't really answer the question though mate. Have we actually gone for him?

There's only likely to be about half a dozen people who know where this proposed transfer stands, but given the soundbites from Martinez and Kenwright it's pretty obvious that talks have taken place behind the scenes with both Chelsea and Lukaku's representatives.
