I imagine the 1st 2nd and 3rd podium would be to show the 1st, 2nd and 3rd kits?

Putting new signings on them would be weird; also would be tricky selecting who goes on which podium.

Taking photos of kids or signing people?
One does not simple sign players.

Lukaku is training with Anderlecht he will be officially unveiled as an Everton player on either the 1st, 2nd or 4th August (which date depends on something else happening). Not saying how or why I know this, don't question me just accept it.

You know what I belive you.

I was just thinking I remember sheedy saying that Moyes had made jelavic his number one target just after new years and we didn't get him till the last day of the transfer window...don't know why but that has just popped into my head.

I have no patient and would have moved for someone else by now if I was manager, we must remember Bill knows how to play this game, his dealings in the last window was a masterstroke.

What being publicly embarrass by "broken leg" Dave? Yeah he did us proud. Face it if everyone hadn't of rejected man u they wouldnt of got felliani and we couldn't of got macarthy but we would of been stuck with a player who didn't suit martinez 's style and we wouldn't of been able to get 10 mil for this transfer window.

I truly belive we got lucky last season. Am not saying kenwright didn't get a good deal for felliani because that's the one thing he's best at but it's not like he had it all planed.

Yeah I guessed it would be for the kits mate.
I didn't actually think they were going to unveil 3 players in the middle of Liverpool town centre like.

We didn't get embarrass by Dave, Bill played Man u and Moyes , and got over the odds.

I read your comments on this issue a few days ago. Quite simply you are basing the view on ill informed articles in the press. The losses shown in accounts are not the same as those used when looking at FFP. From the £48 million lost in 2011/12 & 2012/ 13 will translate to under £35 million in FFP terms

If all their costs were the same then in 2013/14 they needed to close the gap in their income & expenditure to the tune of about £40 million.

Two of their commercial deals alone with Adidas & Samsung brought in an additional sum of £18 million, the new TV deal up some £39.1 million also they sold both Mata & De Bryne for about £ 30 million profit. The David Luiz money will be shown in their 2014/15 accounts.

You talk about net transfer spend. In accounting and FFP that net figue has no relevance. A transfer fee paid out is written off over the period of the contract and irrespective of what a team paid for a player their amortised value is deducted from the fee to arrive at the figure shown as a one off transfer profit.

The whole landscape in English football changed with the new TV deal and of all the clubs my take on it is Chelsea are right fully in control of their finances and if they sale Rom it will be because they don't want him as opposed to having to

Its not at all. Its based on what Chelsea say in the introduction to their official accounts.

Its also based on what UEFA and the European Commission have said and follow ups to what is happening with Manchester City.

Chelsea are still under investigation for 16million of the revenue they declared.

Also you talk about amortisation. That as you say depends on the length of the contracts but given the huge deficit Chelsea had and the 16 million still under consideration by UEFA they passed FPP on annex XI trend only. Wages going down. Given Chelsea still pay a significant proportion of all the wages for loan players and given they've gone about making signings like they have and changing managers like they have its clear they got through by the skin of their teeth only.

So in basic terms you are wrong and I am right.

Chelsea aren't still under investigation for anything relating to FFP and they weren't one of the 76 clubs who came under scrutiny from UEFA, so yet again you're completely wrong. At least you're consistent

Chelsea
2011/12: £1.4m profit
2012/13: £49.4m loss

Chelsea are not one of the "fewer than 20" clubs being formally investigated by Uefa over possible FFP breaches. However, Telegraph Sport learnt last month that the club could be investigated to verify their claim that more than £16m of their 2012-13 losses were exempt under FFP rules. That may still leave them needing to lose no more than around £4.5m this season to comply with the regulations next year.

Putting your nonsense on ignore. You're boring. As well as wrong.

Your just making things up to suit your argument as opposed to the facts. I love the bit about the European Commission being involved!

As FLHD said Chelsea aren't under any sort of investigation , nor did it get to the stage where they had to claim such exemptions.

Over the two years Chelsea made a net loss of £48 million. From that at least £16 million have been stripped out over the two years in respect of depreciation, another £20 million is in respect of youth development. Take those two sums away and you are already well within the acceptable sums

You say their wages went down. Ironic because in 2012/13 Chelsea's wage bill went up from £173 million to £179 million ! Also amusing because when a player goes on loan the owning club still accounts for all the wages .The loaning club pay a fee which often doesn't cover all the wages but often it includes the amortised costs.

As I said earlier dodgy newspaper articles. Irrespective where does it say in the article that Chelsea are under investigation?

If this is true and he becomes our marquee signing of the summer - I will be delighted.

I'll be honest with yous....I'm getting pessimistic....god I wish I wouldn't....
