He'll have been thinking about this for ages, his decision has already been made in my opinion.

As soon as he gets back it should all start unfolding.

Last summer - from the moment we hired Martinez to the last day of the transfer window - was a great success. If you aren't prepared to give Kenwright some credit for that, you've thrown rationality out of the window.

Everything else isn't irrelevant at all when you are running a business we took a chance and it paid off and good for us, but there have been times when it hasn't paid off ie yakubu.

You keep on taking chances and it will come back to bite you. Also saying "am not his biggest fan but" about kenwright smacks a little bit too much of "am not a racist but" you know the next sentence is just going to contradict the last.

Anyway this didn't start out as a bash at kenwright. Just everyone had not read/ fully understood what I ment but as usual on here came flying in all guns blazing. "You can't say that about my beloved kenwright blah blah blah...boys pen blah".

Man 1) kenwright pulled off a masterstroke last summer.
Me) although we did good, it was a kick in the arse away from being completely different out come we got lucky not a masterstroke by kenwright.

Where is the big deal and anti kenwright agenda there? Is what I am saying a lie? What are people so offended by it?

100% with you there.

I would go as far as to say that the clubs have long agreed a fee and Chelsea are leaving it up to him.

I expect him to join Everton as it's the best chance to further his development and Mourinho possibly has another marquee signing to come in if needed. (Though Schurrle is more than capable up front.)

Yeah, I expect them to sign another big name up front.

The only question then is what happens to Torres? Can't see anyone paying his fee/wages and he wouldn't be getting a game at Chelsea.

EDIT: Saying that, they happily went into the league last year with just Ba, Etoo and Torres. So maybe they'll be happy with Costa, Drogba, Torres, which is clearly better.

He's stupid if he doesn't sign for us in my opinion, we're clearly the best option for him right now by far.

If he doesn't sign because we don't have champions league right now then he has a serious ego problem.

Yeah, Chelsea did the same thing with Mata to Chelsea, only sold after the United game. Its petty but i can see Chelsea doing this, i just hope the longer they hold out the lower the fee should be

It's true though. We are his best option. He'd still be getting paid too much, and he'd be at a place where he's adored and he loves himself.
I'm 99% certain we are signing Lukaku.
