Lukaku

I'm sure it's just rubbish. Media seem desperate to sell Rom to anyone else but Everton.

Source was caughtoffside.com so presumably utter tripe in any case.

Just imagine Romelu in the middle. Some very young class talent there.

Just come home big Rom!

hopefully hes started to realise at 21 he doesnt NEED to playing champs league and if we dont make it he can always move on, i just hope we get a large release clause if we do sign him

So they don't rate him but over value him to what other clubs want to pay? Give me a break...

Don't think he's saying that really... I think Chelsea value him based on what he initially cost him and his pure goalscoring record since joining - however, other clubs don't value him on that criteria as they believe Chelsea bought him on potential and there are areas of his game that are weaker than the goal record would otherwise suggest, especially considering how centre forwards are expected to play in the modern game. Lukaku falls short on many of the attributes needed at present IMO.

So given the parent club don't value him, it then seems unfair that there's such a high value attached to him to buy. So the disconnect occurs.

Can't really see this, but they're presumably not bringing Falcao in to sit on the bench so there must be game time available.

Given the amount of money Real are throwing around right now, I'd hope he'll take a couple of guaranteed seasons leading the line at Everton over a season's rotation with the likelihood of a new marquee striker shifting him out next Summer.

Lukaku to Real is never going to happen! He wants to leave Chelsea who he supports as he's not playing 1st team football so why would he join a team where it will be harder for him to get a game? Some pathetic journalism going on here!

He wants to be No1 and all the clubs he thinks he is good enough for already have better strikers. He either moves to a 'big club' and sits on the bench again (or stay at Chelsea and do the same) or moves to a 2nd tier club and plays every game.

He has only just turned 21 so there is nothing stopping him coming to us for 3-4 years and moving on (if he becomes the player people think he will be) to a 'big club' to be a guaranteed starter. I think that's the angle Roberto should be pushing.
