Since Martinez took over, it has been just so brilliant to be an Evertonian. It always is like, but there is such a feeling right now running through my blue veins that defies belief.

With what happened to LFC last season, the spectacular fall of Stevie G (Chelsea game, "the Huddle", his brilliant headed pass to Rat Boy for Uruguay's winning goal, etc etc), it has been just so much more fun.

Lukaku for me on my new shirt. In my lifetime I remember 3 signings that gave me as much hope as Big Rom's. Lineker, Kanchelskis and Beardsley.

Martinez is absolutely the most perfect person to manage our great club. I would bet my house on us winning at least 2-3 trophies with him.

You actually have to admire this stuff occasionally he is relentless at picking holes in things. In another era would have been a fabulous Devil's advocate. Could cause an argument in an empty paper bag. And yes he is a divvy too!

If why he doesnt rate Lukaku is very odd, why he doesnt rate Courtois is absolutely mind-wrecking.

Same. Outside of Palace, Everton are the club I like the most in the league (not really sure why, you just seem like a good bunch of lads) and I'd like to see you finish in the top 4 so I'm pretty pleased that you've got Lukaku. Good luck for the season lads
