Hard to put my finger on it. He's had a decent season and you'd think have his pick of european clubs yet was damned quite blatantly by Jose.

I would have expected "f... Jose I'm not going back I'll stay here and/or go somewhere else". Smacks of London and biggest money at all costs attitude which is his prerogative but will he forever be looking for the same at Real/barca/Bayern/PSG etc. Something about his body language as well. Terrific when he scores otherwise he looks on the verge of ordering a taxi and going to the beach when things aren't going his way.

I dunno, just the same radar that twitched years ago when no one was saying a word against Moyes and conversely made me Martinez champion when I saw his work and interviews at Swansea.

Just a feeling.
 
Seriously people, his club is Chelsea who he also supported as a kid apparently. He is not going to say anything to upset the apple cart, especially when its not sure we even have the money to sign him. I'd disregard anything he says in a interview, he is a smart lad who will play the straight bat to the questions posed to him.
 

on another note he is 28/1 to be top scorer in the world cup. Looking at their group not a bad each way bet i reckon.

it's why Romelu needs to stay with a manager who when he scores a goal (a la Arsenal), he can hug....and knows the goal's going to stand.
