Haha...it was early enough for me to tell a bell whiff who was being negative early this morning on here to pipe down about negativity. But them I was relegated to popping in on my phone between a shitstorm of phone calls about one of my employees who had a car accident today. I'm usually OK with my job when I have 20 things on my mind, but when it feels like 200, I get a bit stressed out.

Don't know if it's been said already, but there is a certain irony in the transfer fee in so far as RM added £5m+ to Lukakus value by how he improved him last season.

That said we get all the "profit" back from that investment. If he had stayed at Chelsea, all that time/money would have gone down the drain. This is a great investment. Like all "investments," there is a certain amount of risk, but I love it because it is bold and at the same time informed (he has scored for fun with us), it energizes the team and the fan base, and it makes a huge statement of intent. We are no longer flying under the radar: that incurs risks of course (we are no longer plucky everton, but "pretenders" who the media would love to fail), but it also generates interest (and fans and revenue).
