If he was the finished article you could see why he would be worth 28m. Wasn't getting anywhere near the first team should have been available at half that price. Effectively spent 28m and kept the same squad as last year
Maybe he will step it up this season but unless he becomes a prolific striker and attracts the likes of barca or madrid I can't see any profit. If we don't make champions league within 3 seasons then what

That Nolan tackle ruled him out of all the potential he was showing - he got compensation off the insurance a disgusting tackle after that his pace and being injury prone finished any prospects he was showing he was looking great till that tackle!
