I think the thread for selling all of our players started yesterday. Right after lukaku held up his shirt.

I look at it like this - if we've bought him, we've bought him for his goals.

Players can't be seen as investments. What if we bought a midfielder for £20m and his knees wanted to be like Norman Whitesides'? Then you have zero value.

Players should be bought on what they can bring to the team, with the target of trophies and CL. That will then yield return through TV cash.

I feel Lukaku (and all players) should be seen as a squad addition rather than a business pitch.

I agree. You couldn't see two more different characters signed this week. We start the week with Besic's perma-scowl and finish it with Rom's affable infectious grin. They are both the same age but Besic looks like he's seen things in his life he wished he hadn't. I think Besic is going to be the seasons big surprise, he's going to rough the Premiership up likes it's never seen before.....well since Roy Keane maybe.
