But look at his age, we have old players as well that don't know what they're doing most of the time. Let me put it this way: You're the manager of Everton and you have been given 25 mill to upgrade on Osman, are you seriously telling me you would spend it on Ramsey? Be honest.

I thought Ramsey was supposed to be really good!

25m is a bit steep. I'd happily part with 15-20 for him. But it's not my money really.
I disagree entirely but fair enough. I would easily understand if you took a liking to Chamberlain or Wilshere for example, I hope we never let them go but they would improve your team straight away. Not Ramsey.

Ramsey was in some pretty cracking form last season when he got injured; winning games singlehandedly for you. I felt like him getting hurt was when Arsenal's title challenge went up in smoke.
He also lost us games single handedly. Our title challenge had nothing to do with Ramsey, we lost key games because of Ramsey and the games against the cannon fodder would be won even with Rosicky, we didn't need Ramsey. It went up in smoke when Giroud and Ozil were too tired to perform after Christmas, we even began playing Sanogo.

Me and some of my mates were actually debating about Ramsey back when the class of 2011 left to Barca, City etc. Some of them insisted that Ramsey was the next Arsenal playmaker now that Fabregas is gone. I was adamant that it is simply not true, from the games that I watched Ramsey, I knew he has zero chance of being any sort of reliable playmaker, his technical ability is so poor. He's basically a goal poacher who has no sense of positional awareness and I told them back then that Wenger will sign a playmaker because Ramsey is never going to be one. I was right. Cazorla arrived right on cue lol

Just shows what watching players live means in terms of opinions about them.

Thank you! Exactly! People who hype on about Ramsey only watch MoTD. The highlights don't show him repeatedly turning over possession and losing the ball under no pressure (actually, when we played Aston Villa, they literally showed Ramsey trying to do a long pass back to the defence and it went nowhere near an Arsenal player, it went for a throw-in for Aston Villa. Think about that for a moment, his pass was so shocking that MoTD felt compelled to show it, even though it had no significance to the match)

Romelu growing was a freak in all age groups. More so than younger brother, physicality, it's amazing. He was praised since aged 6 and he's having to react with this pressure. He's a totally cool boy, and very intelligent. A genuine heart and very good on training, leg work he was the top performer. It's suprising to many people who have less insight, how many players use A variation of pain injection pre match, I happy to hear he's regaining peak fitness. He is a pleasure

Some great running behind so far, couple of lovely first touch link up and lay offs, missed a sitter though, think he'll slot in the 2nd half

Mate, Ramsey will never be a top player. He's not even where he should be, Tottenham is his level just like Adebayor. Just because he banged in a few goals for us doesn't mean he is anywhere near a top player. Remember that Adebayor scored plenty for us as well and scored a few for Man City and Real Madrid because Fabregas, Walcott, Nasri etc. made Adebayor look like a top player and so those clubs bought into the hype. Look where he is now, rotting in reserves at Tottenham. If we sold Ramsey tomorrow, not a single top club would take him. Maybe Brendan Rodgers but that's it. He would struggle to get into the Everton team.
Lol. Such a crap childish retort to a legitimate point. Where did I say I didn't rate him you moron?
