I think you will find that I did. You know reference to Lukaku fanboy thread etc, that he had a decent game. But hey apparently that needed to be called excellent for those who are in fear of £28m being wasted.

I feel gutted for those who can't accept he really isn't as good as he is hyped. It's like trying to tell man United fans that David Moyes wasn't the next saf.

Dont recall him being "hyped", just that he is a 15-20 goals a season striker. Which we havnt had for ages. But anyrate, I am still puzzled by his apparent poor first touch at times. Almost like he is trying too hard, rather than doing stuff instinctively, like that ace little flick against Lille that led to a goal. Dunno.

He's turning into a worry. I'm not sure our system helps him as he feeds off width and crosses mostly to the near post but he's not doing enough to change our system to accommodate him.
