Speaking as he prepares for Belgium’s tilt at World Cup glory in Brazil, the 26-year old Liege born attacker said he believes his future lies at Everton and he is convinced the club is on the verge of something special. Asked where he sees his future after Brazil, Mirallas was clear were his allegiances lie.
“I still have three years under contract at Everton and I feel great at the club,” said Mirallas.
“You never know in football and a lot depends on the World Cup but in my career so far I’ve always focused on what is best for myself on a sporting level.”
“I have purposely built my career step-by-step and up until now have always managed to take a step in the right direction,” explained Mirallas.
“I have become a better player and Everton have become better and stronger,” he said.
“I really hope Romelu [Lukaku] decides to stay at Everton so we can all carry the club forward together.”

Shut your mouth Joel lad.
Goal.com I know but still...
But in all honesty do you or our other mates on here seriously think they will see him in an Everton shirt again?
True, but he'll have spoken to Rom and presumably been told that staying is a possibility.TBF...I don't think he is saying that he thinks he might stay....He just said he hopes....
I also reckon Fellaini will have a ew positive words for Everton...True, but he'll have spoken to Rom and presumably been told that staying is a possibility.
How likely it is I doubt even Rom knows at this point as it depends on so many factors - his performance at World Cup, whether that affects Mourinho's thoughts, what other clubs come in for him, other Chelsea signings and their cost, how much money Everton actually have etc.
Personally I oscillate between stark pessimism and happy confidence but I think that is just a natural symptom of being an Everton supporter.
Perhaps Kev will lock Rom in his room again until he agrees to sign....
Very true and the nightmare season he had (and Kevin de Bruyne's before he left Chelsea) will hopefully show the importance of being at a club that matches your skills and that can provide the regular playing time like @Kiwi stated.I also reckon Fellaini will have a ew positive words for Everton...
I know for a 100% fact that he told Everton that he wanted to stay, but this was 3 weeks ago, untill he might sign for someone else i still expect him to sign with us for a year.
