Garbutt and Hennen seem to have been with us for years and years making very little dent on the first team. Very puzzling. I would register him tomorrow at least he has a left peg.

Can we get Luke signed up at midnight tonight and get him in the squad for united or the derby.????

Even if we did sign him up, it'll take him an age to get match-fit and back up to speed, even assuming he's now good enough. For the sake of his own career, he needs to move on.

I feel for the lad, he's had a bad run with injuries, and the loan to Fulham a couple of years' ago didn't work out for him.

hes been playing well scored a cracking free kick - he would have been in our first team if registered!

He's not been playing well. He's been bang average, certainly not a stand out performer.

With Koeman not registering him, Garbutt has had no chance to show what he can do agin quality opposition, so whether he is better than Martina is a moot point. Just wish he had been given a proper chance for us to judge once and for all.

Watched him at Mansfield in an u23s cup game, was shown up and bullied - watched him recently at Derby and hardly kicked the ball in 90 mins.

Maybe with better players around him against better opposition he might step up, but personally I can't see it. He's had long enough to show something - personally I'd get rid and buy proven quality.

He had his chance in the Championship and didn’t take it. Some players just aren’t good enough, unfortunately. Martina being one of them - and therein lies the problem.

If we register him then get another LB its a waste of a squad space as Baines will come back from injury.

Id rather carry on with Martina until the new LB arrives and use the space for someone else.

He said 31 and is not included Garbutt who is an unregistered reserve player.
