Long term he’s not the answer, short term with good direction from Big Sam he’ll likely prove adequate until Baines returns , and we have the gaps in our squad to register him. My big fear is that come Saturday we have a back four of Martina, Williams, Jagielka, Garbutt , Big Sam recognises their deficiencies and plays McCarthy, Gueye and Schneiderlin to protect them.
 
I guessed he must have a bad attitude but if he wants a career it's in his benefit to play as well as he can so someone might be interested in taking him on loan or maybe off our hands altogether in the summer. He is not the long term answer but could be the player to get us to the end of the season and if he does ok even if we don't need/want him because of his attitude problem it might get him off our wage bill as he still has another 2 years after this season.
 

Vlad the impaler was never going to win Strictly but he was bloody effective.

could not care if they are good people, bad or indifferent.

Can they win football matches for us?

Tbf to Koeman, he didn't want to sell him but Bryan wanted more minutes so switched club's

Looks like he's getting games at Sunderland

I'm happy for him. Always liked him

No. I was saying Oviedo is a good back up, always was. Nevet suggested first choice.

And Sunderlands problems aren't left back. They are literally eveywhere else

i had a look at their twitter feed when gibson got injured (again) they were gutted, i thought they hated him to be honest

i loved Gibson for the first 18 months, was a lovely player. cant be injured for that long and ever be the same again sadly

Think his choice of lifestyle probably resulted in the injuries.

There was a reason Utd binned him off.
 
Nah mate. I dont but into the
"Sunderland is rubbish so everyone must be rubbish." Lucky we didn't assume that from Pickford. He has been their best player. Hurt his knee vs reading when he was BOG and was replaced by Galloway he was awful, as he has been all yea.

Played out of position; CDM in his return and was poor.

Oviedo should never have been sold.
