Ohh, you were in the Tampa area. I'm on the opposite coast, on a barrier island. We rarely, if ever (only during a hurricane), get a tornado here. Thank God. I was born in Chicago, Illinois (moved to Florida at 5), and still travel up there 3-4 times a year. Tornadoes are gnarly, and I'm glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. I was up there in May and we had one come through a town a couple km away. I heard the sirens at 3am and ran to the basement. Definitely not used to that! What made you leave Florida? I may be moving over to England, hopefully. Either there, HK, or Russia (again, blah).

basically I missed family, going to the game and the heat was starting to get to me, but initially I really enjoyed it and I still go back to the orlando area for a holiday every year.

Welcome mate, go on tell the truth your mates eat the pineapple on pizza are the same mates that support the muppets across the park.

Hell, I'm only an hour away from Orlando! We've got some good, not UK good, but good pubs over in my area! I forgot to add, it'd be nice to have another proper football fan where I watch footie. There are Spur, City, United, Celtic, and Arsenal fans...I'm the only Blue.

Very true. As long as it stays 65-70km off the coast of Florida, we get good waves, no damage (we're below sea level where I live) and time off work! A win-win for people like me! *All assuming that it doesn't become a Cat-5, or something like that!*
