Welcome mate, I really don't know how anyone could read this stuff for a year without chipping in with a "shut it goat you fat meff".

so during your time as a voyeur
  1. what stands out as the most epic thread/post
  2. what had you giggling so much you had to show someone
  3. have you endevoured to home bake some pasties
  4. do you throw holy water at your screen when ghosts demons are in evidence
  5. do you refer to that lot as 'The [Poor language removed]'

Welcome aboard mate. Good to see our American contingent continues to grow in numbers.

I saw remarkably few in Oz, I spent about 5 of the 12 months doin' a fencin' job, putting up fences all over Sydney with a lot being on waste ground with long grass, saw a few redbacks and huntsmen spiders but that was it, it was only when I was leaving that they said they were amazed that we hadn't seen any brown snakes, which are right nasty and will go actively to get you from the other side of these plots, never saw any funnel webs either. Saw a redback without the stripe (male I think) and remembering what it looked like, I reckon I've seen 1 over here, they are a type of black widow.

Didn't see any while camping either, but in Thailand things just walk through your hut, gekko's and voley/ rat type things, and I saw a snake that lives up in the coconuts, a huge bunch fell and the snakes instinct was to head up, the nearest thing was someones hut, the Thai's got the huge knife on a pole that they cut the coconuts down with and chopped it in 1/2 on the beam of the hut, they are scared shitless of them.

Monkeys were probably the most vicious things tbh

Welcome to the asylum, mate. Up the coast in Jax - we should have a GOT meeting at Dixie Crossroads and see how many rock shrimp Goat and I can put away. :P

I'll show him how a real fat man gets it done.

No pineapple on pizza - we must have standards. Its great to find more in the Sunshine State that have been chosen.

Very true. As long as it stays 65-70km off the coast of Florida, we get good waves, no damage (we're below sea level where I live) and time off work! A win-win for people like me! *All assuming that it doesn't become a Cat-5, or something like that!*

Looks like Monday will be a good one. One of my partners in crime at work is looking to find a way to get out there. You guys might catch it a bit earlier down in Brevard.

I do like spider monkeys though, they're ace.

Baboons of some description in Bali, all over the place, every temple you go to see is overrun with them, and vicious, pretty big some as well with a good set of gnashers on 'em. We went to 'The monkey forest' as well but the temples were worse for the nasty ones, there were signs everywhere that they were though, telling birds not to go near them if it was a certain time in the lunar calendar.

Sack that, they're mental those baboons. I'll stick to spider monkeys mate.
