We are linked with keepers galore but not one of them really make me think 'yeah, he's a clear upgrade'. It's quite terrifying.

Im a Chicago Bears fan, the last few days for them make me terrified about what Everton will do this summer.

Purely down to we could get money for Robles we wouldn't get a penny for Stek.
So what the hell is our manager selecting him for he's utter rubbish - my older brother was there today wished him a good game - he was concerned of a defensive pair being out paced a valid point- I told him I was more afraid of the Stek in goal!

I see your reasoning.

Not sure we need the money though
Robles stats when we climbed the league were up,there with the top,3 Prem keepers , he commands his box he had made a few rash mistakes nothing on the Stek scale - dropped for the ginger ones favourite 3 times he has signed stek , and the Fulham fans forgot he was on their books he was that crap!

First time I saw Stek was the first match of the season against Tottenham. I just couldn't put my finger on it but I just thought how 'open' he looked. Sure, he pulled off some decent and as it happened, match saving saves.

He was then rightly praised for his two penalty saves at City and he started to become a favourite.

However, at 6'5 he just wasn't commanding his box and the simple ground shots which he smothered looked awkward for him to save. When replaced by Robles, he looked even more awkward.

The problem was, the Everton defence became a little tighter, Robles started playing with more confidence, and suddenly people started talking about not bothering spending money on a keeper because Robles was the real deal.

I've said it before, neither of them are good enough for Everton. Neither are first choice keepers.

I havn't seen any replays, but I assume people are blaming him for their second goal ?

Neither of them are good enough.

Totally agree with the above, they're both perfectably able backups, Joel might improve, but then again, he might not.

Neither of them are good enough.

Start the U23 keeper the rest of the way.

I've seen him play quite a lot, I doubt he'll ever hold down a regular Premier League spot

What on earth was this signing all about? We signed him just in case we failed to sign a proper keeper?
We signed him as Koeman likes 3 keepers? (Obviously not)
Or we signed him thinking he will do for the first team?

Must be one of those, but none of those options make any sense at all.

Well The Stek would not be my no 3 choice!
