I am certain that the discussions revolving around our current goalkeepers are now purely academic. Neither Steklenburg or Robles will be our No 1 goalie next year, nailed on.

Given Koeman apparent liking for 3 keepers it wouldn't surprise me if we sign two, with Robles leaving and Stek dropping to third choice.

He didn't prefer Stek, Stek actually lost his place to Robles and Robles stayed in the team because of some decent form. Koeman would have kept him in except he lost his head against Spurs and Liverpool and then was back to making crazy mistakes. So Stek had to come back in but has been woeful too. Neither are good enough.

robles got his chance in the Derby when Stek hurt is calf fact!

Stek has very little resale value, Robles we could make a few bob, it depends if hes willing to stay and fight for a spot, hes done it before, but does he wanna do it again? I doubt it.

Been a few whispers that he will return back to the Dutch league, was brought in as a cover stop gap IMO.

Think we could see him leave and another experienced goalkeeper come in, not a priority though
