So far today I've read negative posts from you about Koeman, Bolasie, the stadium move and our keeper.
We're second in the league, unbeaten this season, playing well and look defensively solid. There's nothing to be negative about and yet you seemingly have to strive to find something, anything, it's genuinely tragic.
The best bit was when he said our good attacking play is down to Martinez's magic beans after spending the past 2 years berating anyone who suggested our good defence in 13/14 was down to Moyes.

I wouldn't take much notice to be honest mate. Seemingly isn't happy unless he is having a moan or just putting our own team down. I'm sure if we were to win the league he would still find something negative to say.
I'd personally like to see his reaction if Phil Jagielka captained us to winning the Champions League, with Mirallas netting the winner and Stekky making a last minute wonder save lol

As much as I don't want to be on #TeamDavek, I think Stekelenburg should have been a lot stronger for the goal. Needs to be turning his body to block Negredo off while taking that ball, it was like he didn't even see him coming.
9 times out of 10, the ref gives a foul but i'd still like to see my goalie doing a bit more there.
Really like the look of him so far though, and think hes done well with crosses/long balls in the main.

The fellas been sound since he came in and had his chance, only people clutching at straws who want the club to suit their own agendas couldn't agree. At this point in time his first team place is not really worthy of major discussion as he's been fine.

He needed to be stronger BUT it was a foul as it was in both of his hands before the striker barged into him. 99 times out of 100 that is given as a foul, that's now two goals we've had our goalkeeper fouled on but not been given the decision (WBA the other), so really only conceded one legitimate goal in 5 games which ain't too shoddy.
Even that happening in the cup would be funny, and there's a semi-realistic chance of it there.

Stek should have been stronger, but it was a foul - and a blatant one at that.

Stek has been playing very well so far. IMO he should have jumped with his knee leading so Negredo would have had to come through the player to get near the ball.
But 2nd place with 3 goals conceded in 5 games with 10 goals for is just fine by me. Long may it continue.

In 1984 you were allowed to 'rough up' the keeper a bit, it generally isn't allowed nowadays and hasn't been for at least the last 20 years. I would also say that Gray looks like he put his head on the ball and not into the arms of the keeper.

Sorry mate but if he turns his body to block Negredo then he's trying to catch a ball whilst facing his own goal six yards out, that would be absolutely mental goalkeeping, and I can't recall ever seeing a decent keeper doing that.
Is right, lead with the knee, ref will never give a peno for that as it just looks like part of the jump.
