Arsenal’s strategy is really weird, they could have got £20m off Wolves for him, decided against it cos they wanted to keep him, loaned him out to WBA on Deadline Day, brought him back and didn’t/won’t play him in either position he’s suitable for and are now blocking another loan because they ‘want him to stay’

They want cash up front. Arteta knows Everton's position this summer. A loan with a purchase later was all that could be done.
