I thought they said we weren’t!!
It was the echo saying we were in talks with Malcom but quoting that tweet that was posted here a few pages back...Tweet unavailable mate. What did it say?
Good info ?
That he couldn't play his natural position because it's the same position as Messi. That's really all it was.
No. If you take out the time he played on the left last year he was very good. He exclusively played the right at Bordeaux. He's a winger who always plays on the right and is inept at the left. I know people don't do stats around here but some of them for when Barca tried to play him on the left would have you questioning if he's actually a professional footballer. On the right he was top class. That's not his natural position. He's a winger and mostly plays on the left, but can play on the right
His 'struggles' at Barcelona are more a case of Valverde not counting on him - the speculation has been that since he was not an endorsed signing, he was not motivated to play him. Tells you more about the sporting direction of the club than it does of the player's quality
Not really but this has been reported in local media
A couple of Pique's Direct Debits went unpaid and he got charged fees by his bank due to his wages being late.Pay June's wages 3 days late but wants to pay £150m on a footballer. Good stuff barca.
When he was at Bordeaux, I had him filed under 'seems to score every week him' when flicking through Ligue 1 YouTube highlights. Is he actually decent like?
I got excited when we were in for him for 24 hours last summer before went to Roma and signed for Barca.
That was all a bit mad wasn’t it?
He was good on the left to start the season I thought. It doesn't seem to matter which side he plays because he moves inside as a sort of second striker a lot regardless. When he was at Bordeaux, I had him filed under 'seems to score every week him' when flicking through Ligue 1 YouTube highlights.
My only worry is that all signs point towards Richarlison starting either up front or on the left next season, despite looking far, far better when playing on the right.
Me too, a left footer on the right and a right footer on the left looks good on paper but where we play Richarlison now actually worksWhen he was at Bordeaux, I had him filed under 'seems to score every week him' when flicking through Ligue 1 YouTube highlights.

Ignore this blokeThat's not his natural position. He's a winger and mostly plays on the left, but can play on the right
