A midfield 3 of Gana, Williams and Gomes maybe?

Also don’t subscribe to Goat’s view of Williams but very much doubt he’ll be an integral part of a midfield 3 this season.

If we go 4-3-3 Sigurdsson will either have to adapt or we’ll go with Davies. Expect to see Williams get a run out in the early cup games if he doesn’t go on loan though.

Happened with Beckham at Preston (Although I'm not saying Williams will be as good, it's just an example of a manager sending a player out and being impressed enough to give them a chance when they came back. A good Everton example would be Seamus going to Blackpool that season)

Agree on Bernard, we need more of a ball carrier at 10 as an alternative to Sigurdsson. Could see Bernard offering us that.

Theres very few players in world football who can play different roles in sides, little Bernie is a wing/forward.

Some people have just never taken to Siggy mate, and they see the signing of a guy like Malcolm as a way of getting him out of the team, even if it means shoehorning Bernard into a position he's never played before

Agree i would like to see bernard there,also i watched williams a few times at bolton last season my mate is a season ticket holder and they do bring a friend 4 free games, he impressed me at that level.He deffo has a bit about him.

Strangely enough you find the most versatility in the lower leagues because player turn over means that you have to be able to wear more than one hat
