I thought we were excellent in midfield against Chelsea and that’s where city have been really struggling. Haven’t we got the best defensive record in Europe at the moment?

We will need to offer a threat in behind though otherwise we will get pinned. I suspect there will be no changes other than Coleman but very interesting game and looking forward to it, which is a weird feeling.

Be shocking if we weren't defending well considering we defend with 11 players all game every game as that's the only plan we have.

Is that so? You mean like Arsenal and Chelsea did? And Liverpool at home last season. Of course, we may lose, but no need to be so negative, it's not good for you... Happy Xmas
Ah, but you make a rookie's mistake: neither Arsenal nor City were in a slump, desperate for a win to get them out of it, or had a striker in a goal-drought failing to distinguish between a cow's posterior and a banjo...

Tomorrow we face the champions - who are in freefall - with a striker who is struggling for goals (some fella called Haaland) and a star player who has only managed one all season in the league (the reigning footballer of the year). Throw in Jack Grealish having a nightmare and what could possibly go wrong for a side that ALWAYS obliges the meek, the poor, and the huddled masses of world football in their hour of need?

4-0 City, Pep: "We're back".

PS Former Everton players are also prone to a goal in game's like this. Step up John Stones, if fit and available for selection.
