Man City fans leaving early

Are Man City fans wrong to leave early because they are fed up?

Why buy a ticket if you are only going to stay for seventy minutes and get fed up?
I don't think it's anything to do with being bored and everything to do with not getting caught up in traffic at the end of the game. I've never left early but if other people want to and they paid for their seat, they can leave when they want. Far too many busybodies around these days who are too concerned about what other people are doing.

If you could leave 5 mins early to get home an hour early, why wouldn't you
I’m not a person who leaves early, but that’s either because I’m going to the pub or the advantage I’d gain by the train is pretty minimal.

But for those who live further afield or it’s a nightmare to get home, leaving early is probably the most sensible options especially if it’s all done.

Especially now with the extra 5 mins or so of stoppage time. I bet some people have at the same leave time for years apart from if it's ended to end for the last few mins

If you buy a season ticket the cost thing goes out of the window for most of the season

Can't help but notice the volume of Man City fans leaving early, having watched MOTD last night. Their ground was half empty at 4-1 up.

If we had a team as good as that, you'd want us to play everyday. I know there are some valid reasons for leaving early, but it does appear as though they get fed up and leave early.

One of those, City have a hardcore of about 30,000, give of take.

The rest are coming to see players, they’re coming to see the best players in the world. They’re not bothered about City. Over time their fan base will become more solid, but the hardcore amount won’t change.

The ones leaving aren’t City fans.

People will leave early but it does appear as though many of their fans are disinterested. To be honest, I don't know why I am bothered about it so much but it baffles me that some of their fanbase appear fed up at the match and are often seen on their phones. Not just their fans, but it is quite noticeable with them.

I've experienced having a team i support be dominant for a number of years (not football), and yes, it is all a bit dull after a while when you know you will win. You even feel sorry for your main rival (until they actually threaten to beat you).

Similar scenario to city but I often leave the barça games early when they have it wrapped up as I can't be arsed with the packed metro afterwards. I've only regretted it a couple times when I missed a particularly good Messi goal late on. It definitely does get boring watching a team win easily enough most weeks. City don't have a Messi to keep you engrossed even when 4-0 up
