I would respectfully dispute that and all of them do more for their teams than our man ie are better footballers. His technique is average.

I agree to an extent, as a footballer he's not particularly easy on the eye, but he certainly is an effective one despite whatever technical limitations he may have. If we do recruit a forward it should be someone who can complement him rather than replace him imo

2nd half of the season was pure relegation form

That’s 500 + mil spent on a team who would struggle to survive and got beat by Sheffield United, Fulham, Burnley and Newcastle at home

Same team also took 10points from Spurs, Liverpool, United and Arsenal Away.

Easy to pick out the good and bad really. but we've finished exactly where our form suggest we should. Mid-table.

Lots of work to do to fiond some consistnecy and quality

Having said that, there was no consistency with tactics, formations and player selections. I believe for that reason we never really hit a rhythm.

Sheffield United beat Man Utd away from home and got relegated

West Brom beat Chelsea 5-2 and got relegated

We might pick up the odd decent result every now and again but if we can’t sweep past the mid table and relegated sides what is the point

West Ham swept aside so many mid table sides this season and struggled against most of the top teams and were only a few points away from qualifying for the champions league

All day long my phone alerts have been about Aguero, about the RS making the CL from a seemingly impossible position a fortnight ago, about Chelsea’s prep fir CL final.

I am sick, sore and tired of EFC being mere spectators at as other teams grab the headlines and contest the honours.

30 odd years of absolute mediocrity lightened only by one trophy and one top four finish.

We have become the new Coventry City...making up the numbers for three decades.

We don’t normally get beat 5-0 by City.

Our centre halves need to take a look at themselves. They gave up the ghost at two nil and now us Evertonians are baying for blood.

Holdgate and Keane ought to be put in stocks. Disgraceful from both of them. I want them out of my club

We did under Walter Smith and 5-1 under Moyes, Rooneys last game before going to United.

Well look at the reaction to criticism from people, Phil McNultys article yesterday in particular which was deliberately twisted to be something it isn’t. He clearly wasn’t criticising Everton in the Community yet people ran with that anyway.

It’s borderline exasperating the rubbish people push on others. We are all supposed to love the club aren’t we? It’s like when the chairman gets criticised, they’re like termites breaching the nest in packs , shaming anyone who doesn’t think he’s great.

The motto on the badge needs to go, it clearly doesn’t mean anything these days. It’s a hollow platitude to when it did mean something.
