I see our away form as a false positive. Having fans back in will negate that next season so hoping our home form improves too. We just need to either clear out the following or use them as bench fillers (couldn't fill our allocation today).

  1. Horror Holgate
  2. Simping Siggy
  3. Irrelevant Iwobi
  4. Goaless Gomes
  5. Destitute Davies
  6. Terrible Tosun
  7. Awful Olsen
  8. Jobless Jonjoe
  9. Disasterous Delph
The alliteration on Olsen is off mate.

  • Didn't watch after the abomination of Sheff Utd at home I knew we would get spanked in this. These players are either not good enough or throw the towel in when there is any pressure applied. We were always going to crumble today even without a few of our better players. Poor home record because we can't break down teams and good away record because its simple low block but it was always going to catch up with us. The fixtures today didn't favour us at all for Europe but we were still abysmal and pathetic and we lost it with the dreadful home record. It's a display we have seen too many times at home this season and it's partly players not arsed its partly an imbalanced squad and partly Carlo being negative. We need to start being ruthless top to bottom!! Too much of an acceptance of defeat from top to bottom at the club for years. We need hungry and ambitious players who will run all day and fight for the club to push on forget short fixes or names if we don't do this we will carry on going backwards, until we start demanding better!!!

Why for example did Fulham get relegated? (substitute WBA or Sheff U). Because their players are not good enough. Definitely not because of lack of effort. We have better players in the main but bad management ie. their inability to motivate Give Carlo top players then no problems. Give Carlo players who need pushing to get the best out of them, he is helpless or useless. Choose your own word. We will never get top players, so change the manager.

All you can hope is that game underlined to the board, owner and manager that big change is needed. It has been since Silva left, but we persevered with a number of players and didnt change much last summer.

We hadnt been thumped this season thus far, but today was a thumping in a match that was still had meaning for us.
...the irony being that it was exactly because there was still meaning, that the thumping occurred.

This present iteration of EFC is a spineless entity...and thoroughly dislikeable.

...hard to disagree with that conclusion...horses for courses.

They played like they didn't feel any pressure at all.
my equation/rubric for this team's expected performance is simple : Q) does the game have a skerrick of relevance? If the answer is NO, expect an ok performance: if the answer is YES, expect defeat.

This current Everton team has taken 'Everton that' shithousery to nosebleedingly high levels

NSNO <sarc>

When the 3rd went in at 0212hrs my time, I went to bed...I mean enough's enough innit.
anyway, I see Nkounkou got some votes, how did he do?

Besides that -
A new kit that may...depending on the state of your colour vision...or may not, have a tinge of red about it, is the very least of Moshiri's Problems.

As one 'bon mot' provider put it - The Gash with The Sash

Edit; Last season we needed a new Mid Field, so we bought one - it lasted about 8 weeks.

We Still need a new Mid Field - please get one that lasts a bit longer this time.
