Bunch of [Poor language removed] houses today the lot of them. Gave them far too much respect. Almost like there was an agreement not to put a tackle in. Maybe that's why Allan got annoyed when de bruyne left one in on him (although I don't think he meant it).

*shakes head...cries a little bit....gets really upset.....says FFS Everton....goes to bed.....

All you can hope is that game underlined to the board, owner and manager that big change is needed. It has been since Silva left, but we persevered with a number of players and didnt change much last summer.

We hadnt been thumped this season thus far, but today was a thumping in a match that was still had meaning for us.

Pathetic; the players should be ashamed of themselves but they won't.

They'll go out, have a party, laugh and shout, get their wages, and love life.

F them all.
I’m trying to imagine the crowds mood at the first home game next season with a full house at GP when half of these same wasters jog out onto the pitch

fair play to Pep, he must have been worried when Carlo said yesterday we'd be challenging him for the title next season, but he didn't let it distract his preparations for next week.

I see our away form as a false positive. Having fans back in will negate that next season so hoping our home form improves too. We just need to either clear out the following or use them as bench fillers (couldn't fill our allocation today).

  1. Horror Holgate
  2. Simping Siggy
  3. Irrelevant Iwobi
  4. Goaless Gomes
  5. Destitute Davies
  6. Terrible Tosun
  7. Awful Olsen
  8. Jobless Jonjoe
  9. Disasterous Delph

the only way we get them to leave is to pay up their contracts. I'm thinking a hundred million should do it, but at least they'd be off the books.

As with most of our bad losses this season, as the manger said afterwards it comes down to effort rather than technical ability.
That’s a very worrying comment if it’s true. The very, very least any player at any level, even if he’s totally out of his depth, should contribute is effort. It’s not a skill, it’s not something your blessed with at birth, it’s not something only a few select individuals possess...it’s a basic requirement of any activity you do, and you can put in as much or as little as you like. For a world renowned coach to say that means simply that the players he has are not suitable to wear the shirt. If they can’t give effort they should be fired just like they would be in any other profession.

Areas to strengthen:

  • Pacy winger(s) as we have absolutely no width.
  • Another creative midfielder
  • New right-back
  • Centre back is shot too
  • Another striker to give DCL a bit of competition & have as option on the bench

As you say any other profession you go through disciplinary stuff and the ultimately You're fired. Football being football that doesn't happen though. There isn't any risk, players don't turn up for 4 - 5 games at a time then stuff gets a bit toxic so they then up for a game and it's all okay the cycle continues. As long as the club doesn't get relegated nothing will happen to them. Maybe they get dropped and are on the bench for a game or two, they don't care they're still getting £100k a week regardless.

And a thumping by a team who never left 1st gear.
