Are you suggesting that the lads don't want to win games? You can have as many 'kick up the arses' you want but it wont work with every player psychologically.

Today we need to keep the ball and break quick. To keep the ball we may need to win it back at times, I would play 3 in the middle. To break quick, we need Lukaku to be at his best controlling the ball ( to get better at it is nothing to do with psychology or a bollocking but to practice -good old hard work) and Mirallas breaking quick to get close to him with Coleman bombing on. With either McGeady or Barkley playing.

So because you haven't seen Martinez bollock his players on national TV and in the media, you've just assumed that he just doesn't do it at all and he is all smiles.

He isn't the type. It's like assuming Roy cropper gives Hayley a good kicking after a glass of sherry. It just isn't happening.
 
We need to keep it tight today. Martinez can't afford to take the game to them today, we need to do a wolfsburg on them imo

Martinez has dominance and respect in spades. Witness players running directly to him after scoring(Mirallas and Lukaku, and others). Against Spurs he was seen and heard shouting constantly to the players 'quicker, quicker'. He knows that he has areas of pace in the team, but will inject more pace, both in style and individuals, as availability and finances allow.In todays Daily Fail theres a nice interview with Besic, who says that Martinez sat him down and gave him the full story of what it means to play for Everton, and the history of the club. Utmost resopect from Besic just there.
 
Hello lads. In the aftermath of our defeat today I'm hoping to sufficiently play the not arsed card using punchy sentences and exclamation marks against those who are overly upset.

This makes me a bigger tit than anyone truly upset as I'm profiteering off Evertonian angst but I gotta have my gratification too!

Please don't appear upset when City beat us.
