Will tell me which everton we will be under martinez. Win today and I have faith he has what it takes to drag us out the mud, lose today and I'll question his ability to give the lads a kick up the arse when needed.
Because of an away match against the current champions who have an amazing home record and who have one of the best Strikers in world football...

Pointless guessing at what side we will be, or at the managers ability to motivate in a match like this

Anyone else feeling strangely optimistic about today?...just me?
It's the type of game under Moyes I'd expect a sleeves rolled up battling performance in, and a share of the points.

In fact, getting it back to front a bit more quickly today - as Moyes' sides would have done - might be a good idea given Kompany's absence.

We need to make this a bit of a war.

Robles start's has a worldie, we score in stoppage time when Ross feed's late sub Kone who chips Hart from 35 yards. 0-1 smash and grab

or 5-0 Agureo with 4 and a Robles og

The one problem with that is that Lukaku, whilst getting better, is very poor at firstly, heading and controlling. I want to see us go back to front quicker with at least 2 players close to him to pick up the headers the defenders win. We would be better of with Lukaku playing wide at times and hitting the ball to him there. It wouldn't surprise me if we did share the points.

You mean we should judge against pee poor sides like hull and the poorest spurs side in a while, oh wait...

Too true Dave, play Besic and give him Carte Blanche. Not optimistic though I must admit. But please Roberto no ,ore feble excuses about lack of energy. They are young men for heavens sake.

Why because I expect the players to show up after a pee poor season and after countless times leading matches but to then concede?

Sorry but Everton have always been a side who can get it up the opposition and work as a team. We roll over today and that will speak volumes about the mentality of this current side I couldn't care if it's city or Burnley we are playing it's how WE play that will decide if the result Is W,L or D today.
But thats not what you said above. You said If we lose today blah blah...

The fact you've decided to select this game, away to the champions as a stick to beat Martinez with, is odd.

' if we win, he has what it takes... we lose, ive lost faith '

Very odd indeed, away to the champions, low on form, confidence, players not 100% and missing key lads.
