The absolute best part of it was knowing, just knowing all day we were going to win. Its a brilliant feeling knowing that Everton were always going to have a go. The moment they hit the bar I knew for absolute certain we were scoring.

Got 4-1 before the game, and 5-1 when they hit the bar.

Can't believe we are only 13 points from safety already....sorry old habits die hard

The mindset change under Martinez has been epic. Let's be realistic, there are one or two exceptional teams in our league but top 4 has got to be a target now. No more major injuries, possibly a signing or 2 in January and we will be there or thereabouts

I was buttering me toast when Bryan scored. It's true, toast always land butter side down!!!! Don't even know where to begin with this one, some dodgy patches in the first half after we started the better of the two teams, Howard is becoming a monster inbetween the sticks. Jags and distin were immense, rocks the pair of them. We built from the back every time, no hit and hope for a flick on, just well thought out possession football. Be heart breaking for Bryan when baines is fit, is jan the time to cash in on him? Never seen anybody celebrate a goal that they haven't scored they way lukaku did tonight, any chance of a permanent transfer there lad. Gerry and Ross are dangerous but age and experience will make them superstars. Barry and McCarthy are forming a real partnership, unlucky gibbo mate.

Arsenal will be a different and more dangerous test but tonight will give the boys an added sense of strength and guile to face any opponent anytime, anywhere and not back down.

onwards Everton, we loved ya under Walter and now you're repaying us for our undying faith.

This. Watching teams (be it Stoke or Man U) desperately trying to close down our centre halves to stop us playing and we just ping it around like a training match.

The jump up in quality all over the pitch, especially in that area the last 3 games in particular has been massive, we are the mutts nuts.

We had a great African evening with fire and meat ending it off with the best pudding I have ever had -
beating United in their own back yard when they desperately needed a win -
Thanks Roberto for making us believe in ourselves again - you have a great future ahead of you -
and I just hope Everton is going to be part of that - pretty please

I love you

Good shout, a key player who isn't even being missed. Shows how good our midfield is.
