Not that I expected anything from Old Trafford to start with, but it's incredibly frustrating that United barely had to get out of first gear to hold us at arms length. Another glaring example of just how much we need to strengthen the squad in the summer, alot of them look to be running on empty already at this stage of the season.

Why have a go at Phil Neville? Probably one of our better players on the day. What did Saint Leighton do today hey? We all know what he can do yet as usual he choked in a big game ala against Downing in the semi final. Didn't put one good ball in all game, got done countless times defensively, and just generally looked like a school boy wanting to go home. Watch Cole v Barcelona last season and you'll see why he's still playing for England. He can defend. Neville, Fellaini and Jelavic were the only ones in our team that didn't look like they were embarassed to be sharing a pitch with the Mancs. The rest just succumbed to the usual inferiority complex we get most of the itme we visit Old Trafford or Anfield.

What the Jesus H. Christ is that all about.

And for myself I was mostly set up being upset by Heitinga starting and gifting them an early goal. Couldn't really get in to the mood after that.

a loss is always hard too take, but united at old trafford years ago it would of been
alot worse i know its not years ago but dont expect us to go there and win dont expect any team
in the league to go there an win. still think we put up a bit of a fight .. that goal were'nt right on half time
could of come out the second half alot diferent think that changed the game the way they set up on the right
was spot on baines + pienaar not much time to do things and with there quality upfront even defence
just too good. gutted obviously but were on the march on saturday come on u blue boysss

i agree with the effort been made is a starting point for every player but when you bring on a "forward" thinking player you expect more thn just running around .....

twice he just fell over at the sniff of an opposing player

That's what I said...it was his commitment and fight and a little bit of effort...I was using him only as an example of what the rest should be doing............his playing ability is a totally different subject all together......i'm not even going there.

Because he's ****ing ****e lad. Baines had a poor game but still did more than Neville. He needs ****ing swerving. As do you.

Complete no-show from nearly every player in blue is the disappointing thing. Fail to beat Norwich and Reading then even Europa is unlikely.

Baines was injured last season against United, Distin played left back.

How come the likes of Southampton, Reading, Swansea, Norwich have a go at so called bigger teams and we can't? And how comes it has been like that since Moyes has been here? I just wish now and again we'd show some serious will to win. EVen years ago pre-moyes when we didn't play such nice football, at least we had some drive, determination and Lee Carsley.
