A loss by at least three clear goals.

Every player to come at half time and sit next to a goal post, after Ronke's half time pep talk involves him donning clogs and singing Tulips from Amsterdam to them.

1-0 to the Blues, Rooney with a 92nd minute winner. SAF in the stands immediately gets up and leaves, camera then pans to Moyes who is trying hard to suppress a smile. Coleen and the kids run on to the pitch to give Wazza a loving embrace at the final whistle.

The season turns as Everton then go on an unbeaten streak through to Christmas in all competitions. It's written, I tell ya.

I would approach this game with turtle-defence tactics. Seriously.

Every man under the ball and try to counter with Wayne as a spear head.

..the problem is if they score early.

It's sad that we were all hoping we could go and compete with these teams, provide a real threat even if we got beat. Now, it's all about damage limitation with associated threads on how many United will score and whether we will manage to have a shot on target.

Big change from the beginning of the transfer window when some on here we're talking about 'heads falling off on RAWK'.

I think any realistic Everton fan is expecting to get beat in this game.
A few will always believe that something will suddenly change and we can win.
They will continue to believe this until we are two down and then they get drunk.

What about the players though? What are they thinking?
'Get paid, win or lose'
Does Pickford think 'My old boots, I am going to be busy today'
Williams- 'I really fancy and egg and bacon sarny'
Baines and Jags - 'We're getting to old for this malarky'
Idris - 'I will do the best I can, but what about the others?'
Everybody else - 'I hope they don't pass to me'.

I mentioned in another thread, Rom will score more goals than Everton will have shots on or off target.
Gives me no satisfaction saying that, but I can see it happening.

Can see Rom scoring maybe 3 and probably celebrating scoring them too showing no respect to the club that gave him the chance and the springboard he wanted.....although he may surprise me.

for me against utd .......

.............pickford
...... keane williams jags
Kenny......................baines
....gana schneiderlin davies
...........Sigurdsson
.............rooney

or a 4411
...............pickford
..Kenny keane jags baines
vlasic gana schneiderlin mirallas
.............sigurdsson
.............. rooney

bring dcl + sandro on together as a front 2.

we have 4 number 10's in rooney siggurdsson klassen and vlasic. none should be played and crowbarred into the same side.
it should be either or Sigurdsson or klassen at the minute in that role.

we need rooney up top because we haven't enough experience there, he should be the only player to be played as a lone striker or in a front 2.

what I don't want to see is cuco or holgate at right back, sigurdsson rooney and klassen in the same line up , pickford not in goal , and sandro or dcl played as a loan striker.
