I think a poll is needed to identify the seasons groups and factions, draw a few battle lines, define remit and philosophy etc.

You can legitimately hold a view on Benitez, but the jury is on Brands.

This is an understandable position, but then you’ve got the other faction of the fanbase which is the likes of Kev and Spurty screaming at clouds and making all sorts of excuses when we win a game. To me this is an even more bizarre stance to take than the Benitez cultists, because it involves wanting Everton to lose games. I do fully believe there are people that want that btw.

...or just all get behind a manager who is so obviously astute and such a right fit for Everton.

He’s saying and doing all the right things at the moment, so it’s a yes for now. Nice to see an Everton team fight as well now, we’ve certainly not seen that for a number of years.
