Wenger is no doubt a talented manager and very intelligent. But he does have this way about him which can make him appear as a bit of an obnoxious sod.
The last time he bugged me was a few weeks ago when he claimed that the UEFA cup was essentially pointless. Not every team can aspire to the levels of Europe's elite. This doesn't mean that every club with the exception of those top 10 or so shouldn't bother doing their own thing.
Also, Arsenal, whilst an exceptional team, are not good enough to even win the Champions League. They would probably be better off in the UEFA cup, since at least they would have a chance of winning it.
Still, if I was going to invite some managers to my house for dinner, Wenger would still be on the shortlist. Benitez and Ferguson wouldn't get a look in!
