Sadly City have probably sussed out our weaknesses after the 0-0 a few weeks ago so they will know the areas they can capitalize.

If they'd have sussed out our weaknesses they'd have beaten us then mate...

We threw them with how we set up last time out, and our 'weakness' only showed when Stones got that nasty kick off Sterling and the defensive unit lost a bit of discipline and shape.

We can do these. It'll be tough, but we can match them.

We have been mentally soft as a team since the dogs of war. Anyone expecting anything other than complete capitulation is in cloud cuckoo land. And even if we did win, we would just be there to witness Klopp being crowned the new saviour of the empire.

Sunday did me in with Martinez. Both Howard and him should be thanked for their services.

How we started that game will long live in my memory. The best squad in 20 years will be dismembered in the summer because Martinez was too arrogant to do what is causing all the discord with the fans.

What a wasted opportunity.

Everton have to go through, it's Everton. Sadly this will gloss over the dreadful manager, John Stones, greatest defender who.....can't defend, Seamus 'Headless Chicken' Coleman who has had one good season with us, A goalkeeper of pensionable age and performance, Besic, love him but we can't have our 'hard man' always out injured because that means he is not quite as advertised. Notable on Saturday was that Barry, Baines and Pienaar were the only Everton players deserving to be on the pitch, all old hands. Deulafue...a few good crosses and nothing else do not make a top flight footballer. Sorry to be such a misery but the first half was only equalled when we lost to Tranmere at home.
I thought no one could be more negative than me at the moment.

I got that wrong big time!

Odds for Everton to keep a clean sheet in the cup vs Man City & Carlisle then to lose vs Newcastle in league 100/1 from Paddy Power.... just sayin
