All 3 goals should have been prevented. The first was a poor decision by Pickford imho to pass short to Mina. Mina's pass was then woeful and intercepted and Mina should immediately have sprinted out to make a level back line. He didn't and Keane didn't check and tried to play an offside trap that was never going to work. Total comedy of errors.

The second and third goals were just embarrassing for 3 cbs to concede to headers from such small attackers.

We are still progressing but confidence is low and it shows.

Why play three lumps at the back? Why ask Siggi to do something he's not good at? Silva has got to take some of the blame
for a screwed-up formation.

EFC could have scored three or four and appear to be improving but the losses against the top six just continue to mount up.

Bernard appears to be busy but there is no impact and he and Richarlison as the starting wingers don't work.In fact our entire attack needs
to be updated/replaced. The only bright spots for me were Gomes, as usual, and Lookman who made things happen when he came on.

The losses will continue to mount up against better opposition....that is a norm. We could always try and close shop to get a draw but usually ends up in defeat also. We are miles behind still at the moment but are setting up to have a go at least which is the only way forward to what we are trying to achieve.

We can't and don't look like ever beating these expensively assembled top four teams anymore. Once City new they'd won they dropped off a bit at the end to let us play a bit. We were bullied for most of that game. It's okay to make excuses though as they are the best team in this league. It's just concerning that no matter how many times you hear posters say, oh if we converted our chances it would've been a different story. I beg to differ. These top teams would simply up another gear. They just seem to always be in control. The only exception is the derby but alas we still didn't get anything out of it. Bottom half teams find ways to stifle these top teams. We fall short in that area. Moyes used to sometimes get great results with the top four. I don't see it with Marco. I fear we will start losing confidence in the second half of the season if we don't convincingly win a game. Too many chances fluffed over and over. Movement not quick enough. Crosses not getting into danger areas. Not enough aggression. It's not like we've had too many games or been plagued by injuries. We looked like a team learning a new style not so long ago. We've been found out though. Marco needs to find a way out of this to prove his mettle. Nobody expects top six realistically at the moment. We just need to see some better results. Going into the new year.

Considering where we were last season. Were not far away if we take our chances there would be a difference in position in the league and attitude by our fans

Poor poor finishing.

Midgets winning headers in the box against our giant centre backs.

Paying price for not replacing lukaku.

Coleman looks like he’s running in quick sand.

Kurt Zouma deserves to be a regular starter, with either Kean or Mina...and at present Id say Kean. Alternatively, the way Zouma showed at right back, I'd play him instead of Coleman. Zouma is VERY strong on the ball, is huge physically and just brushes past players when he gets up steam. Best physical strength we've had in defence for years. We are in transition, and its early days...give it 12 months and we'll be a lot closer.Difficult to be patient, but essential.
