Bernard putting a shift in, Sigurdsson being nullified by the formation, Gomes not quick enough as a ball carrier.

Moaning about playing from the back. Hilarious this. Would you prefer us to just surrender possession by going long every time? Thus having to withstand wave after wave of pressure. That's Allardyce football, I'd rather us try and play and be progressive. People love to moan though.

No, of course not, but there is a time and a place. In my view, it's not after having had corners an shots on goal in the previous 5 mins.

Players should set for the short kick, Pickford wave them up and go long to richarlison or DCL. Yes it may give them possession, but it will kill the game a little bit and defensively everyone has reset.

Every other team I'd agree. But this team pushes so high and is the best pressing side in the world. We haven't the players to play through them. Arsenal and Spurs get battered doing this, pure arrogance to think we can do it.
The thing is that if we beat the press that puts us on the counter attack as they will be pushed up. I just think if we go long, it's gonna come back on us pretty much every time.

I missed most of that first half but let me guess, we looked decent, maybe even made some good chances byt then give away a daft goal / ref is a tw@t? And then since conceding we've looked lost?

Yeah, we've created the best chance and wasted it. You can't say one city player who's actually played well tbh, except maybe fernandinho.

am i the only one who thinks were not doing too bad?
only behind due to a mistake, creating decent chances,
people are forgetting just how good this city team is
No mate, it’s Pickfords fault. The fact that we’re playing the champions away and they’re WAY better than us doesn’t come into it at all.

Im not part of criticising Pickford, but you say Mourinho ‘stated’ he wants him, I know nothing of this bar some RUMOURS in the press, I’d be very surprised if Jose come out and stated it though. Or do you think transfer speculation is fact?
I know nothing for fact except i live about 800 yards from old Trafford and all the taxi driver say it's so ;-)
