I do like the confidence of some on here, I like that there are Evertonians who think that if we go at City we have a chance of beating them. As much as I like the idea that Everton, with the right game plan, might beat Manchester City I’m afraid the realist in me says otherwise. While I agree the weakest part of the City team is their defence they are still a completely different standard from ourselves and that is with them resting players. While we are in the same league as City, Liverpool, Arsenal and the others at the top end we aren’t competing against them, our rivals are the teams below and around us, that is our reality. This sham bravado will be followed by the usual wailing and gnashing of teeth and the incessant calls to sack the manager while Bill and Co. will be in the City Boardroom sipping fine wine and eating canopies telling the City hierarchy how to do things the Everton way.

Think it will be 3-0/4-0 to city.

We might start ok and look resilient but will end up concerning a few, then city take Thier foot off.
A moshiri says expected loss

Be honest, would you turn on the tele or watch it online tomorrow?
Only for the comedic aspect of it. Watching Everton try and play a passing backward and sideways game against City will be hilarious although somewhat horrifying at the same time.

Sigh, I hope there is a miracle. I could just play COD and Everton may get a draw. Staying away from the tele may be the best solution.

Massively risky playing the same crap though Ste. He'll get on the ball, isn't afraid of the thing and has a bit about him as well. Cannon will run the lines and make more of a nuisance than Maupay has done the last few games.
It’s putting needless pressure on them, which I’m sure neither want nor the manager otherwise they’d be in by now
