Kind of result that draws you back in and gets your hopes up.
1 point.
Against most other teams, getting a draw having had 2 shots on target all game and 26% possession would be nothing but a negative.

Just hope its a point toward keeping us up.
They've destroyed me this year.
Hope its better next year.

Arguably a bigger ask than today. Coming out and breaking down teams at home.
We broke Wolves down but didn’t take our chances. It’s right that game could have easily been 2-1/3-1 good guys but it is what it is.

Sign a decent attacker, build on today. We should be okay.

Nice to feel positive about Everton even if it ends up being short lived

Why does everybody think we can beat Brighton as a matter of course?

Have you seen them play?

Miles better than us...
may get down to the approach, play to not lose and they'll get the draw, playing to win may be a different story, while nicking a win is always on the cards - the steel, and in turn, the confidence is starting to develop through the middle; if its getting down to how to build around that then well they're in a better place along the path travelled than for quite some time. reckon they'll at least match Brighton at Goodison.

Massive result, and hopefully in more ways then just the point on the board.

last game of of the year against a free-scoring city team.
Who really expected anything !!
But the lads went out there and put there body's on the line, they not only earned that result they earned the respect of the fans who were Out-singing the opposition. That in itself will play a big part in there mindset.
I just pray they will have bottled up the confidence they will have taken from today and carry it on in to the new year.

Watching Brighton today, yeah they got beat but they still look pretty damn impressive and play some tidy football.
We take 3pts from that and we'll be flying with confidence.

Happy New year Everyone...

And please please bring us all a Happy New Year Everton !!!
( And a Few Players )

Just watched Grays goal...amazing! Especially considering the quality of the opposition. Goal of month contender, if not the year! Well played.

Finally had a chance to watch the game. Back three were massive. Frank’s tactics were spot on. Hard pressed to find fault with anybody in pink.
I have a question though; how old is Patterson? He looks about 14.
